Kudo Malta brings together a team with years of experience in martial arts, competition and teaching. With different backgrounds, roles and areas of expertise, we share a commitment to the development of the club and work together to create a strong, supportive environment where students of all ages can learn, progress and grow.
Our Coaches
Dilyara Vakhitova
Dilyara Vakhitova is a Kudo instructor with more than twenty years of martial arts experience. She began practising Goju-Ryu Karate-do in 2004, started coaching in 2007 and has been teaching her own classes since 2012. An active athlete and referee, Dilyara joined the Kudo Malta coaching team to help athletes improve their striking technique, movement and technical precision, bringing extensive competitive and coaching experience to her work with students.

- Candidate Master of Sports in Kudo and Karate

Alexander Zhuravlev
Alexander Zhuravlev is a Kudo and BJJ instructor with extensive experience in martial arts and competition. He began practising Shotokan Karate-do in 1996 and has been coaching youth and adults since 2016. An active athlete and referee, Alexander joined the Kudo Malta coaching team to help improve the overall technical level of its athletes, bringing strong skills in both Kudo and BJJ and a particular focus on grappling and technical development.

Alexey Matveev
Alexey Matveev is an MMA instructor with a background in Kudo, grappling and competitive martial arts. He began practising Kudo in 2007 and has more than ten years of coaching experience. An active athlete and referee, Alexey has competed successfully in Kudo and grappling and has experience preparing athletes for professional MMA fights, bringing a practical and competition-focused approach to training.
